Your typical Sunday . . .
drive to Kokomo to have lunch with parents . . . check!
come home and set 'critter' trap in attic to catch whatever the hell is up there . . . check!
climb up on roof of house to reattach chimney vent that allowed an open hole for critter to obtain access to attic in the first place . . . .check!
go on a leisurely bike ride on a beautiful day, get lost in a neighborhood (who knew all these neighborhoods were connected?!?) end up riding MUCH farther than anticipated - but enjoy it anyway . . . check!
BLINK . . .it's almost Monday again . . . .check, check!

just an observation. . .there is so much hurt and loneliness out in the world.
the often illusive happiness that everyone aches for isn't found in a bottle or a crowded bar.
i'm just amazed at all the pain, often not spoken of, but seen in the eyes of those hurting.
why is happiness so hard for some to find? are past mistakes forever a part of our being? do they prevent us from finding that which we want so much? it is impossible to depend on someone else to bring you happiness - you must find it on your own - within yourself.
it's time to stop beating yourself up - ask for forgiveness and then forget it - let it go and get on with life. there are no 'do overs' in life. you've just got to pick yourself up and get on with it.
so much easier said than done, isn't it? we are so good at finding fault with ourselves and why we are undeserving. just stop. stop beating yourself up. it's time to move on, again, and maybe again. stop robbing yourself of that which you deserve . . . HAPPINESS. . . there is nothing you have done that can not be forgiven. it is time to move on, just choose to do it.
